​Westfield Photographic Club
Mosborough, Sheffield

 

Our programme includes weekly meetings from 7.30pm to 9.30pm on a Tuesday evening (apart from Bank Holidays) in the Joseph Stone Centre in Mosborough from September to April and location shoots from May to the end of July.

 

Typical activities are:

• sharing and discussing members' images

• activity evenings, learning new skills (on and off camera)

• taking part in competitions, both within our own club and against other clubs (not obligatory)

• going out on photoshoots to local places of beauty and interest

• an annual day trip to somewhere that provides opportunities for great photographs

We also host presentations from visiting photographers (amateurs and professionals) who give inspiring talks about their work - a small charge may apply on these evenings.

We welcome people of all ability levels in photography and with whatever equipment you are using at present from smart phones through compact 'point-and-shoots' to more advanced DSLR or mirrorless cameras.

The annual subscription is currently £75.00 (may be subject to change) for a year, running from January to December. If you join part way through the year, your subscription is reduced accordingly.  Visitors are charged £3 per session (for up to 3 sessions), this is deducted from the membership fee if you decide to join the club.
